Make Your Character Traits
Kayla Saens
Ms. Quinn's sixth grade class has been working on character traits. They were all put in different groups. Then the students read a story out of their literature book and picked a character they liked. They traced around each other to make a base. After this they made details, such as lips, eyes, mouth, hair, clothing, skin color, and shoes. That is how they created their characters. The students taped shapes to the character. They then wrote character traits about their character on the shapes, for example what they wanted their character to say, like, "would you like some cake?" which is what one of the students wanted their character to say. The students went through the same steps an author would to make a character. All these lovely characters were placed in the hallway by Ms.Quinn's room.
